Quiggeroc was an old Nome who served King Kaliko closely. He was present when Bucky and Davy Jones washed down into the Nome Kingdom, and ordered the prisoners brought to King Kaliko. When Bucky conquered the kingdom, Quiggeroc was the most hesitant to accept him. (Lucky Bucky in Oz)

Background

Although John R. Neill only described Quiggeroc as a chief of diggers, Jack Snow refers to him as a general in Who's Who in Oz. There is no reason that he cannot be both.
